Vienna To Prague By Foot

This walk was established in1995 and stretches for 250 miles from Vienna to Prague along the Dyje River in Southern Moravia and the Vltava River Valley in Southern Bohemia. We now give you the chance for close-up views of the beauty, architecture, the people, their culture and of course the history of the Czech Republic.

There are a number of group tours operating on selected dates from May to September. Please contact me for more details.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Vienna and take the train to Breclav (overnight Valtice)
Day 2: Valtice to Lednice - 11km (overnight Mikulov)
Day 3: Pavlov to Mikulov - 10km (overnight Vranov n. Dyji)
Day 4: Cizov to Hardegg to Vranov n. Dyji to Telc - 14km
Day 5: Landstejn to Nova Bystrice - 15km (overnight Jindrichuv Hradec)
Day 6: Trebon to Svet to Kojakovice - 12km (overnight Cesky Krumlov) 
Day 7: To Zlata Koruna monastery to Klet - 15km (overnight Cesky Krumlov)
Day 8: Cesky Krumlov to Prague by bus and end of tour
